Muse

How is it that all your experiences lead you down the path to your very being today? Connecting the dots is crucial.

Once upon a time, there was a girl who lost her hearing at age three. Thrown into a silent world, I honed my art for recognition and validation.

Primarily a landscape painter, my early works focused on paintings with far away horizons with roads in open fields leading to mountains to cross. Gorgeous red colors inviting passion and strength into the view.

My escape route.

As I battled a series of devastating circumstances, slowly one could see small structures and farmhouses beginning to appear near the horizons.

My road to recovery.

My sense of belonging.

As the structures became the focal point of the piece, I found my personal life also had become serene and content. I am comfortable in my place.

Now I am passing the empowerment on to others through my figure work. The synthesis of all modern women, depicting courage, inspiration and peace in our modern world.

My past is my vision for tomorrow.
